Working as cabin crew usually comes with extreme tiredness. Here you have some tips to deal with that!

Be careful with your diet!

As flight attendants don’t have a straight timetable for meals, it is important to have some cares with your diet. You should plan healthy snacks to keep with you during flights for you to be able to eat something in every two hours. Avoid large meals and try to make small ones during the day.

Sleep well

Since you are flying for long hours and you can’t keep a regular sleep time you might suffer from insomnia when you have time to rest.  A good solution to this problem is the Light Therapy. Exposure to the light, which can be mounted on a visor to shine directly into the eyes, as well as in a light box, has been found to help a significant number of people who suffer from insomnia.

Have an exercise routine

You don’t need to become a member of a gym or to have expensive equipment to keep your body on movement. Whenever you have the opportunity, go out for a walk or for a run. The important is to do some kind of physical exercise to keep your body in shape and to get rid of stress.

Give yourself a break

Keep one day in every week just for yourself! It’s important that you have your own space to relax and to rest when you are not working.

Keep a right posture

A poor posture wastes energy.  Whether you’re moving, sitting or standing still, try to make sure that your head is lined up over your body. This posture will avoid back pain and headache.

Drink more water

Airline travel creates an increased need for adequate hydration. Aircraft cabin humidity levels are unnaturally low so dehydration is a common problem for flight attendants and can even originate jetlag. So try to drink plenty of water during flights.

Take care of your feet

As a flight attendant, your feet are your most important tool. Bad shoes could cause several complications and have a drastic effect on your levels of tiredness. SKYPRO shoes are the only shoes that had been developed specially for cabin crew and pilots. They combine the most absolute comfort with other technologies that allows you to have a good performance at your work without getting tired.
