Women’s Pavilion – New Perspectives At Expo2020 Dubai

For the first time in 50 years, “Expo 2020” allocates a pavilion for women

Visiting the Women’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai was to live an immersive experience of change. It means a lot because the local messages and images indelibly embed the importance of women.

Within the scope of the “New Perspectives” exhibition, the Women’s Pavilion invites visitors to recognize the central role that women, known and unknown, have played throughout history. The initiative was the target of repercussions in several media channels, such as Harper’s Bazaar and others.

We are equal (children know…)

In a large, dark room, scenes of small and amusing children are projected, confronting us with their surgical statements, enraptured by the differences. In the greatest of spontaneities, they cannot find ANY – because, in fact, WE ARE EQUAL.

The Women’s Pavilion highlights the significant contributions of women to the advancement of societies, as well as the challenges women still face, especially as the world moves through the COVID-19 pandemic and works towards a more sustainable future.

“When women thrive, humanity thrives”

By deconstructing misconceptions about women’s roles, the pavilion raises awareness by showing male and female contributors to women’s empowerment and gender equality, inspiring visitors of all ages to become agents of change in their communities and beyond. “WHEN WOMEN THRIVE, HUMANITY THRIVES,” it says.

At Skypro, since its foundation, we have always strived for equality, for its celebration, so I share the relevance of this women’s pavilion. I am sure that many women and men who visit will change behaviors and humanity move forward. If you have the opportunity to visit DUBAI EXPO 2020, it is a must-have!
