The aviation industry is one of the most popular nowadays and is responsible to create millions of jobs. Working as a flight attendant might have a lot of benefits, however, it doesn’t bring many benefits to your health. Skypro explains you why right away.

Almost every job have their health risks, however, air crew routine is not the healthier. One of the major problems is the schedules. A regular flight attendant works about 2 weeks per month. But during this week’s they work between 14 a 16 hours a day, with irregular sleep and eating schedules. These crazy schedules don’t allow having special care with nutrition and the jet lag only make it worst.

Another big problem of air hostess job is the fact of being extremely exposed to radiation and pressure that can cause ear problems and in the worst case scenario, cancer. Furthermore, the lack of oxygen and the dry air of the cabin can contribute to dehydration and breathing problems.

To avoid this potential damages is absolutely necessary that cabin crew members be aware of this risks and create mechanisms to prevent this diseases by changing their daily routine.
