When you travel for a place to another as a cabin crew it’s hard to be controlled and keep an eye on the budget. SKYPRO gives you some tips to save some money and enjoy life at the same time.

Most of flight attendants care about savings and keep a budget, however, when you pass part of your life travelling between different cultures you are tempt to spend money in things that you usually can’t find in your own country and that you don’t really need. The real challenge is to keep the eyes on the future and saving some money for your regular life outside the aircraft. Here you have some easy tips to manage your budget successfully.

Plan you budget. Build up a map with the expenses you can’t avoid and add an extra amount to other things you would like to do, like visit museums, shopping, going to that nice restaurant etc. You will have a clear notion of how much money you are going to need for that period.

Leave your credit and debit card at home. When you go to flight take with you an amount of cash enough to the expenses and to some emergency. This way you will avoid extra costs with things you haven’t planned.

Focus on savings. When you are planning your budget make sure you put aside an extra sum. At the end of the month you will notice that you are creating a saving that you can use later for something you want and that you usually can’t afford.

Share the responsibility. If you live with a housemate be sure that you’re not the only one concerned about budgeting. Sharing the responsibility is the better option for you to save some money.

Keep your receipts. By keeping the receipts you will be able to know where you spent the money and control your regular expenses more effectively.

Have some flexibility. It’s good to plan, but it doesn’t mean you have to give up of something. If you spend more than you planned in one week you can compensate at the following week. You can enjoy life without being concern about money all the time.
